As an Auckland wedding photographer, I've seen plenty of unique weddings, but Sabrina and Lucas's celebration was truly out-of-this-world! From the moment the groomsmen marched down the aisle at the iconic St Matthew-In-The-City, complete with Stormtrooper helmets, blasters, and even a life-size R2D2, everyone knew this day was going to be special.
Surrounded by their closest friends, family, and congregation, Sabrina and Lucas exchanged heartfelt vows in a ceremony filled with personality, laughter, and plenty of nods to their shared love of Star Wars. Sabrina was radiant, and Lucas couldn’t hide his excitement—the perfect combination of love and joy.
After the ceremony, we headed to the stunning Auckland Museum to capture their wedding photos. This was no ordinary wedding party—there were a total of 20 bridesmaids and groomsmen, one of the largest groups we've ever photographed! Coordinating everyone was an adventure, but it was worth every minute as their energy and enthusiasm made for unforgettable photos.
Sabrina and Lucas’s big day was a perfect reflection of their personalities—fun, vibrant, and wonderfully unique. Being their Auckland wedding photographer was a delight, and capturing every Stormtrooper, smile, and special moment is something I’ll always remember.
