The Maker Sun Shop is their online store, where you can buy personalizable items for your nursery, home, or other decor purposes. The prices run as low as $3.50 for a Santa Button up to $110 for a Personalized Growth Chart.
For all orders up to $150, the postage is a fixed fee of $10. Orders over $150 are shipped free of charge. You may also request a free local pick-up from their Auckland studio.
On the other hand, The Maker Sun Studio provides laser cutting, engraving, and a comprehensive graphic design solution to make a large selection of home and enterprise products, including shipping across New Zealand.
Laser cutting may be used to cut, engrave, raster, and line etch a diverse range of materials. It has been employed in a variety of fields including architecture, graphic arts, product design, and fashion. It will enable you to turn your ideas into reality while also producing interesting projects for yourself.
The maximum size they can do is 800x450mm, and the thinnest material that will avoid breakage is 2mm. Orders are prepared at least a week after you place your order, but if you have any rush needs, then feel free to contact them to check if they can accommodate you.
The cost is determined by several factors, including the materials used and how much they cost, the intricacy of the task (i.e. how long it will require), and any accompanying labor expenses.
Laser cutting is charged according to the amount of time it takes to cut. Generally on a per-minute basis. 3mm acrylic, for example, is quicker (and hence less expensive) than 6mm acrylic.
