A Chilled Outdoor Garden Wedding Like No Other

What a stunning day! We just knew Lu and Josh were absolutely 100% meant for each other every step of the way—especially with Josh half about to burst into tears at every moment! It’s so beautiful, though, to have that overwhelming rush of emotion for the love of your life <3
Lu and the girls had an AMAZING breakfast spread as they all got ready.. definitely had their priorities right! One of my favorite things about a getting ready sesh with the girls is seeing the gowns (bridal and bridesmaid!) all hung up before they’re worn for the day. Lu had such a STUNNING two-layer wedding gown with sheer tulle and pearl details… ugh so pretty!!!
Weddings can certainly bring on nerves, but Lu and Josh were slick enough to get legally married the night before and make their big day all about celebrating love (official vows!) and partying it up with their favorite people.
“The official marriage is 30% of the stress gone, now the rest is just the first look and the ceremony,” Josh confided, anxiously pacing as we awaited the arrival of gorgeous Lu coming into the Winsford Gardens. (Had to keep an ear out for the car coming up the gravel driveway… hey the sanctity of that first look on a wedding day is absolutely worth guarding!!)
And what an emotional first look it was <3 The two were so sweet with each other, Josh in quiet awe of Lu’s full wedding day attire and tender kisses and holding.
Now that the first look was done, it was finally time to get the rest of the boys into their suits <3 And before we knew it, Lu was ready to walk down the aisle!
With a lovely live pianist sourced from friends and a ceremony initiated by Josh’s brother, Lu and Josh got to speak their vows and be married in the eyes of their loved ones.
Post-ceremony cocktails and grazing board time, with lovely mixed drinks provided by Cute Caravan Co is always a must! Families were mingled, group shots taken, and friends partook in the joy of a wedding celebration day <3
The weather decided play ball allowing us a peaceful ceremony but decided to rain right afterwards. But as soon as there was a break, we all scrambled out like mice to grab our epic shots :D and epic they were! Especially when you have such an awesome wedding party with energy enough to light up a tow lol
Everyone had an amazing piece to say at reception and speeches—the welcoming into each new family <3 More tears were shed, of course, from our favorite man of the hour Josh!
With that, a lovely first dance started, joined in by Lu and Josh’s son Beau, the wedding party was ready to get under way.
But first, we did get a lovely sunset glow and snuck Lu and Josh out for some of those beautiful soft pink sunset photos!!
And with a live band to keep the partying going, some last late-night epic night shots, Lu and Josh’s beautiful garden wedding came to a close <3
