There’s nothing we love more than a good reunion, and this was a heck of a good one! Cause not only was it a reunion of family and friends, but the photographers too!!! If this gorgeous bride looks familiar, it’s cause you’ve seen her before in a bridesmaid’s dress at her sister Steph’s wedding!
This time around though we were greeted by 2 extra members to the wall family (3 if you count Jarred :P), Indie and Bailey!!! 2 mini Sam & Steph that made their debut not so long ago to this world!
It was so heart warming watching as 3 generations of the ladies of the Wall family get ready together with plenty of laughs, crying (just Indie) and occasional throwing up <3 Don’t worry Debby caught most of it I think? 🤣
Before the ceremony had even began though there’d been a little mishap no 1 could have foreseen. The wind was going so crazy it even snapped the wedding arch but a bit of muscle grease and ingenuity, the boys hurled a massive log over to help put everything back up! And to be honest, if no one told me I would have just thought it was part of the set up 🤣 100% beach wedding vibes
11 years! Can you believe that these two have already been together for 11 years?! and what’s even more shockingly revealed in the vows was that Jarred had the engagement ring in the trunk of his car for two whole years before proposing just because he couldn’t find the right moment! Goes to show though just how much he valued what they had together <3
Back at the Blodge (yap, that’s the official name :D) we managed to sneak away for a few intimate shots in the tall grass on the hills follow by an epic sunset session on the mountains over looking the Raglan beach.
On to reception we go and have to say it was one of the best setup receptions we’ve been to in all our shoots! Especially considering everything was DIY! Every detail was scrutinized right down to the Honey Jars we took home as gifts! <3 Our favourit feature was definitely the ring/square? of light that surrounded the reception tables, everything was bathed in a golden light as the guests ate, laughed and gave a few crack up yet emotional speeches :p
The night couldn’t be over of course without the traditional wedding sparker shot!
