A Rainy Day Wedding

After the rain comes a rainbow, which is precisely what happened at Liz & Johnny's wedding, it started with rain and ended with a happy ever after.

The bride looked stunning in her sleeveless white wedding gown, finished with a back-of-head placed veil. As she walked down the aisle toward her groom, his smile was ear-to-ear as he looked eager to make her his wife. The ceremony wasn't only filled with drops of happy tears; it was filled with drops of warm rain. The joyful crowd sat in attendance holding umbrellas, just delighted to attend such a beautiful venue. The bride and groom tied the knot in front of their most adored family and friends amongst the trees and ponds at The Waterlily Garden.

Taking advantage of the natural scenery and the nearby waterfall, their Auckland wedding photographer snapped some of the most beautiful photos of the newly married couple. This venue is such a spectacle that everyone got carried away having their photos taken in front of the many perfect backdrops. They all arrived at the reception late, but it was well worth the delay with all the invaluable photos taken.

The reception was held in the Garden Pavillion, and everyone gathered inside to get the party started. It was tastefully decorated with glimmering garden lights and ceiling to floor windows to allow the shine of the moon to illuminate the room. Following the dinner, the newly married couple captivated the room with their first dance under dimmed lights. The father-daughter dance was second-to-none, with their adoring chemistry kindling through their beautifully coordinated dance moves.

To add more excitement, the dancefloor opened up to the guests. They were dancing under the dimmed blue lights to a fantastic music playlist. With bottles of champagne on the dancefloor and celebratory cheers, the reception went on late into the night, making this wedding one for the books.
