Rebecca and Jackie’s wedding at Glasshouse Morningside was one of those days where every little detail felt completely personal to them. From the dreamy lighting to the subtle cat references hidden throughout the celebration, the whole wedding was stylish, heartfelt, and full of personality.
Rebecca designed the entire space herself, working alongside the incredible draping and lighting team at La Lumiere to bring her vision to life. And honestly, the result was breathtaking. A single, gorgeous winding table snaked its way across the venue floor beneath layers of warm lights and stars. Rebecca had clearly poured so much time and love into the design, creating one of the most beautiful wedding setups we’ve ever photographed.
Their ceremony was heartfelt and filled with plenty of tears, laughter, and love from everyone in the room. As an Auckland wedding photographer, these are the moments we live for: the nervous glances, happy tears, and tiny reactions that happen when people forget the cameras are even there. Having both photography and wedding videography meant Rebecca and Jackie could hold onto not only how everything looked, but how the day truly felt.
Their shared love of cats and animals also made its way into so many fun details throughout the day. There were little feline touches everywhere, including a vending machine covered in cat stickers for guests to enjoy. It was playful, unexpected, and felt perfectly Rebecca and Jackie.
And then there was Rebecca’s dress. She looked absolutely stunning, with an incredible train that was longer than many wedding gowns all on its own! When Jackie saw her during their first look, he was completely speechless. It was such a sweet moment and the perfect beginning to an emotional day.
Rebecca and Jackie also showed just how generous they are by sharing the spotlight with their guests. Alongside their wedding cake, they had three additional cakes to celebrate three birthdays happening around their big day.
Beautifully designed, wonderfully emotional, and just the right amount of cat-obsessed, this Glasshouse Morning side wedding was completely unforgettable.
