If you're looking for paparazzi for the day then I'm definitely not the right guy for you, BUUUUUUUT if you're wanting someone that's high on life (and self-diagnosed crazy), can crack a joke and is more of a friend then just a photographer, then look no further.
I love mixing and mingling with everyone and just having a good time at the party myself (don't be surprised if I start dancing like a mad hatter with camera in hand <3 ) and love getting to know not just the wedding party but the guests too! After all, if they're important enough to be invited to your wedding, they're important enough :P And I'll be there to capture all their shenanigans.
Not saying I'm the best wedding photographer or even the best Auckland wedding photographer this universe has ever seen but would like to think I'm pretty damn good at what I do. I'm Daniel, and I'll be photographing and filming all the little moments and memories of your big day, even the ones you might not have noticed or missed!
I love and specialise in capturing those real, intimate and raw moments as I feel that those are what will help bring back memories in the years to come! Whether it's your uncle singing "I WILL WALK 500 MILES" or your entire family doing the Macarena, those are the memories and images you'll want to share and look back on.

Yes wedding photos are beautiful and of course they're much easier to just flip through on a phone but there are soooooo many things that a photo can't capture or at least not in full. How many photos do you take during a full day of wedding photography?
I will then take these photos and condense them down to the creme of the crop. The best and most important shots that will help you remember your big day and you'll receive 700+ fully edited photos for a full day's shoot.
How do you deliver my wedding photo and wedding film?
You'll get a personal online gallery for your photos through a link. This way you can share these with your family and friends just by giving them the link. The full gallery is private and only those with the link will be able to find it.
For your wedding highlight film, it will be uploaded to Youtube for you to watch and share with your family and friends. A separate full quality version (Youtube isn't exactly the best in video quality :P) will also be available for you to download through a seperate link afterwards.
Do you have wedding albums , prints, canvas, etc. that we can order?
Yap, definitely! We've partnered up with one of NZ (and I dare say, world's) best fine arts printing company to design and create albums and prints of the highest quality. Let me know if you're interested and I'd be happy to bring samples to show you over a coffee.
How do you manage to do wedding photograph & film at the same time?
How many people will be shooting on the day?
There's 1 wedding photographer in the package but if you'd like, a second photographers can come along to capture extra angles and memories.
For the film, it will depend on how many guests there will be as well as how the venues are set up. It will usually be just a single videographer but if I feel that there's a need for it, I will bring an assistant to make sure the day goes smoothly.
Do I really need a second photographer?
If you can fit it into your budget, I would definitely recommend it! By having a second shooter, there's more angles being captured of whatever is happening, whether its you walking down the aisle, the cake cutting or the first dance, more angles = more photos!
What food do you require?
I'll eat anything :P But at the end of the day, the team would really appreciate a hot meal as we would have been running around non-stop all day! If you're having a buffet styled meal, we'd love to be able to grab a plate and get in line with everyone. Otherwise, most venues have special "vendor meals" that they can provide for wedding photographers.
Where do you shoot?
I'm an Auckland wedding photographer so I definitelly shoot in Auckland :D But to be honest, there's no where I wouldn't shoot!
How much is the deposit and when is the rest of the $ due?
I take a 20% deposit at the time of booking and the rest of it due one month out from the wedding.

Do you shoot elopements? What's the cost?
Definitely! Love them in fact! I've always got a soft spot for small intimate elopements. Whether its a small backyard Auckland elopement with your closest family and friends or a Queenstown elopement on top of a snowy peak with just the two of you, I'm there!
What style's your shooting style?
I like being in the thick of things where the action is! I want to be at your big day as a friend and not just a wedding photographer and videographer! So that being said, its super important for me to get to know you before the day either with coffee or even zooms if there's a bit of distance between us :P
Why do you travel so much?
Being able to shoot in different locations in different venues (or just the middle of nowheres) always give me inspiration. Whether its an Auckland wedding or a Queenstown Elopement, each shoot helps me improve both my work and myself!
